Finally i had to erase all contact-photos cause I did not get which one produces the error. Ok, first: syncevolution --run --sync-property loglevel=4 xyz works fine. Perhaps I was confused by some error messages at the end like: "[ERROR] command line execution failure" I created the folder and put in the attached xml-file. (The error in the browser when tried to download the attachment the first time confused me again. Damn!) Next i had to synchronize with the GUI-tool because had to to an emergency sync, that erases all data at the phone. I don't know why. I created a contact in evolution, and did a sync. I put in a photo for this contact where the TYPE=JPEG.
