--- Comment #4 from alainlux <[email protected]> 2011-09-11 16:34:27 UTC --- > Which binaries are you using? I downloaded both 1.1.1 and 1.1.99.6 and compiled them with ./configure --enable-dbus-service > If you used the syncevolution.org binaries, then this must have been a prompt > for the GNOME keyring. Are you absolutely sure that it was for the KDE Wallet? Actually, I'm not that sure, as I don't usually use the wallet. But after having a closer look, you're probably right: it must have been the GNOME keyring, as I didn't even have kwalletmanager installed... > This might be the root cause of the problem: is the GNOME keyring unlocked in > the environment in which the HTTP server runs? How can I find this out? I started the syncevo-http-server from the same konsole as the syncevolution --configure ... and syncevolution --export $HOME/calendar-backup.txt n900 calendar fails to read the password from the keyring too (the evolutionpassword needed to connect to caldav) > but then retrieving it failed because there was no running X session in which the dialog could pop up? I never stopped X. The same X session was running all the time I even tried running syncevolution --export with -k, but that failed as well... -------- Product: SyncEvolution Component: SyncEvolution MeeGo Release: unspecified Severity: normal Priority: Undecided Keywords: Status: NEEDINFO Who: [email protected] Assigned To: [email protected] Target Build: --- Flags: Changed: -------- https://bugs.meego.com/show_bug.cgi?id=22937 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.meego.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching the assignee of the bug.
