My right to post to the OpenSync mailing list was revoked, so I'm afraid only people subscribed to the SyncEvolution mailing list will see my replies in the "libsynthesis and vformats" thread. I know that my mail was seen as causing harm to the OpenSync project by at least one OpenSync developer, but that definitely wasn't the intention and I only posted it publicly because Daniel, the project lead (!), had asked me to. I consider the ban from the OpenSync mailing list an act of extreme unfriendliness and not in line with open source principles. I have a guess who did that, but I'll stick to my word that I gave in a private email exchange and won't name that person in public. If OpenSync is in trouble (assuming that it is - make up your own mind), then it is not because of anything that I have said or done. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution
