Hi, I'm Irene Scionti, my colleague Alessio Di Pietro and I have delevoped
VersionSync, the second project pointed out by my Prof. Giancarlo Iannizzotto.

Patrick Ohly <patrick.ohly@...> writes:

I never tried it, but with the file backend that should indeed be very
easy and efficient to do. Just archive the whole directory and restore
individual files as needed. Restoring also the original time stamp would
be better than setting the current time, because then clients which
still have that restored item do not need to pull it again, but this is
 a minor optimization.

We already put this field in the table that shows the research results, it is
called "CREATION TIMESTAMP".
However I've just posted a message on this mailing list with a brief description
of our project.
Thank you for your attention, we hope that you enjoy our project and give us
some advices and helps!

Best Regards,
Irene Scionti
