I piped that into a file, and then worked through steps 9. 10. and 11 (even though I did not really get what that step does, I am new to syncevolution) However at step 12 I get errors on the server: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.syncevolution was not provided by any .service files What am I doing wrong now? Maybe it would be a great idea to add your answers to my questions also to the howto, so you don't get them multiple times?
