You are not running the "syncevolution" command inside a shell which has a valid D-Bus session (DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS env variable set). Admittedly a flaw in the instructions. Thanks for pointing it out. As a workaround you can add "--daemon=no" to the --configure invocation. > Maybe it would be a great idea to add your answers to my questions > also to the howto, so you don't get them multiple times? Yes, definitely. Updating that HOWTO based on the improved syncevo-http-server.py is on my todo list. It'll become a lot easier, I promise ;-} -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution
