Hi,

I think I had a similar problem in the past.

One day I bought an iPod touch that had a picture in a default "Apple"
contact, which made its way to my syncevolution server using the SyncML
lite app. So it got to my Nokia E55 phone where I saw that the phone
supports photos for contacts, which I wasn't aware of. In fact, I
tried to assign a picture to a contact before but failed due to the
obfuscated user interface (thanks Nokia).

Then I tried to assign a picture to a contact in evolution, but the
sync failed. I tried a bit more and found out that there seems to be a
size limit in the phone. Once the picture was small enough, sync
worked and the picture was shown on the phone.

Regards,
Tino
