During more testing I figured out syncevolution is capable of deleting the complete addressbook resources from the davical server when something goes "wrong" with the syncs. http://paste.debian.net/124505/ I guess the [INFO @carddav] @carddav/addressbook: deleting <> removes the complete addressbook....
