Yes, that's open. Unfortunately this is rather tricky to add. One would have to extend the internal representation inside libsynthesis (src/sysync/rrules.cpp) and also the conversion to/from iCalendar 2.0 and vCalendar 1.0. I'm not sure how common it is.
