Hi Syncopers,
by resolving SYNCOPE-20, all new features that were planned before
entering the Apache incubator have been implemented.

Since we haven't entered yet into the discussion of a proper
roadmap, even though some nice and interesting spots appeared in this
mailing list so far, I would propose the following:

1. start a new mail thread about roadmap, possibly using a dedicated
wiki page as scratchpad
2. once we have a nice bunch of new features and some ideas about which
releases (and when) we want for the future, add a new page 'Roadmap' to
our website and start creating JIRA issues and versions (actually, some
issues are already in place)

in the meanwhile:

1. freeze current trunk (1.0.0-incubating) for new features - shouldn't
we create a branch?
2. fix all bugs still open on JIRA for 1.0.0-incubating
3. as soon as there are no bugs on JIRA, release 1.0.0-incubating-RC1
4. wait some time (how long?) for discovering new bugs, then enter into
the fix / wait / release RC cycle
5. release 1.0.0-incubating
6. party :-)

Consider that we at Tirasa could perform some considerable testing in
production environments because we are already using
1.0.0-incubating-SNAPSHOT on a couple of customer projects.

WDYT?
Regards.
