Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Render Artifact Group: SVN version Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Genete (genete) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Straight Onto and Straight blend methods don't work properly Initial Comment: Using svn r1265 Straight and straight onto produces unexpected results. Specifically straight don't erase the visible area that are under semitransparent or not existing pixels in a lot of layers. Even if you add a feather to a region or circle, the layer that is below still visible. Also Straight Onto have same problem but it only erases the part of the blended layer where the layers behind are transparent and doesn't erase the non transparent areas of the below layers that are visible Most of the times those failures are corrected when encapsulate the layer except if the encapsulated layer has delimited edges (like circles, regions or outlines) A lot of examples can be shown. Please ask for them if need feedback. I attach two examples of text layer over a rectangle. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=757416&aid=1864292&group_id=144022 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
