Category: Binary Installation Group: Latest release >Status: Deleted >Resolution: Invalid Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: metzelos (metzelos) Assigned to: Atrus (gmatrus) Summary: libsynfig-0.dll not found Initial Comment: the application cannot be executed becaouse the file : libsynfig-0.dll is missing. I do not know if it helps but my OS is Vista ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Paul Wise (pabs3) Date: 2009-04-30 12:17 Message: Deleting this bug since it is a user error (not installing everything). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-11-19 03:16 Message: I fixed this problem and all i only needed to install GTKmm. There is 4 files that must be downloaded and installed: GTK+, GTKmm, Synfig, SynfigStudio; and in Windows Vista you must install them all as administrator. My OS is Windows Vista sp1 and Synfig seems to be running correctly now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-04-24 01:04 Message: Logged In: NO pabs3- I answered the FAQ: "libsynfig-0.dll was not found- If you get the error message 'libsynfig-0.dll was not found' please check that you have synfig (as well as synfig studio) correctly installed." ...had you actually read my post, you would have noticed that I ANSWERED IT. Repeating myself, I said "I installed (already had GTK via Glade for Inkscape) gtkmm, synfig, synfig studio, in that order. This is the second time I have attempted to install it." ...mine says specifically, "libglibmm-2.4-1.dll is not found" if that makes any difference. Windows Vista OS. ...still get the error. Now what? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-04-22 03:03 Message: Logged In: NO I'm having the same problem with libglibmm-2.4-1.dll, on Windows Vista, and I read the FAQ, and I installed (already had GTK via Glade for Inkscape) gtkmm, synfig, synfig studio, in that order. This is the second time I have attempted to install it. Would greatly appreciate a response, as I am anxious to try it out (: Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Paul Wise (pabs3) Date: 2008-02-21 15:28 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=35028 Originator: NO Can you try the answer in the FAQ? http://synfig.org/FAQ#libsynfig-0.dll_was_not_found ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-01-31 19:59 Message: Logged In: NO I have the exact same problem.
