Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: Render Artifact Group: Latest release >Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: jack_spratt (jack_spratt) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: rendering GIF gives black dots and white flashes Initial Comment: Rendering my animation to a GIF file adds black dots and white flashes. With these artifacts, my animations are not fit for public use. This is using quality 5 and anti aliasing 5 (I can't increase the quality as this results in a segfault). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: jack_spratt (jack_spratt) Date: 2010-09-28 16:30 Message: >Try to use Imagick++ That worked - now renders without any graphical glitches. Unfortunately Imagick isn't in the repos of any of the distros I checked so I used the package linked from the synfig site, as you suggested. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Genete (genete) Date: 2010-09-23 20:38 Message: Try to use Imagick++ as target and tell us if the artifacts still happening. If you don't have Imagick++ target enabled please download and install the binary we provide from our website. It integrates the Image++ libraries by default. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=757416&aid=3074150&group_id=144022 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances and start using them to simplify application deployment and accelerate your shift to cloud computing. http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev _______________________________________________ Synfig-devl mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/synfig-devl
