Summary: rendering GIF gives black dots and white flashes

Initial Comment:
Rendering my animation to a GIF file adds black dots and white flashes. With
these artifacts, my animations are not fit for public use. This is using
quality 5 and anti aliasing 5 (I can't increase the quality as this results in
a segfault).

>Try to use Imagick++

That worked - now renders without any graphical glitches. Unfortunately
Imagick isn't in the repos of any of the distros I checked so I used the
package linked from the synfig site, as you suggested.

Message:
Try to use Imagick++ as target and tell us if the artifacts still
happening. If you don't have Imagick++ target enabled please download and
install the binary we provide from our website. It integrates the Image++
libraries by default.
