Summary: Rendered GIF file size is huge

Initial Comment:
When rendering my web banner animation (lasting less than 20 seconds) to GIF,
the resulting filesize is more than 6mb.

I think that part of the problem is caused by the fact that synfig outputs the
same number of frames per second regardless of whether there is movement of not
- regardless of whether extra frames are needed.

My animation is a web banner which remains static for several blocks of 4s so
that text can be read. During these periods just one frame is necessary, not
many per second, which take up extra space.

It would be great if there were some option, maybe 'size optimise' or something
that will detect when there is no change to the animation over a period and
just use one, rather than multiple frames for that.

Compare this behaviour to doing animation in Gimp where one chooses the display
time of a frame (layer) in ms. This drastically reduces the filesize of
animations produced by gimp.

My animation ended up larger than 6mb from synfig, but the advertisers'
restrictions for this web banner project were 30kb in size! Thus this presents
a serious problem for web orientated graphics in particular.

Message:
Instead of use "auto" target renderer, try to use magick++ renderer. It
produces very best results than the Synfig built in gif renderer.
