Thank you both for understanding. Don't want to bring the new theme here, but consider also that the Cnavases Panel will be merged into Library Panel sooner or later. >> However I love having the folder as the group icon - that box icon was >> really ugly - it looks like something in Microsoft Visual Studio. The folder >> makes sense logically as that is how new users will think of it. So I'd >> definitely keep the folder. I don't have anything against the folder concept, but my wish is dictated by the practice. Please try to download compiled packages (http://download.tuxfamily.org/synfig/packages/binaries/) and use them. You will discover that your mind plays dirty tricks with you - you will experience difficulties when looking for Group menu item in the menus. Why is that? Because in old version there was (old) Group concept with a blue folder icon (that you rarely use). And in the new version there is the new Group concept (with completely different meaning!) with the SAME blue folder icon. Tat makes your mind think that it's just the same function and it just automatically drops the menu item from your attention. Imagine also the problems for other users who are not aware about terminology rework. I would like to avoid this by any cost (or at least make it smoother). We MUST make icon DIFFERENT. So, please, take your time, download the packages, play with the version containing the blue folder icon and post your feedback.
