[EMAIL PROTECTED] is the better alias, but: What O/S version are you trying to install?
If the O/S supports newboot, then you should be using grub.By selecting dhcp, it is trying to use the "old" dhcp method, rather than the method based on grub. The error you are getting implies that the O/S you are using wants to use grub.
So, try setting base_config_client_allocation to grub first. What does the error message say?

Hi, trying this here as well as [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I'm trying to jump an X4450 and failing at make_client. Jump server is
S10 8/07 X86, SUNWjet is 4.1.0
Relevant bits from jumpstart.conf:
#JS_DHCP_VENDOR="SUNW.Ultra-5_10 SUNW.Ultra-30"
JS_DHCP_VENDOR="SUNW.i86pc"
JS_CLIENT_MANAGEMENT="dhcp bootp"
Is this good so far? I am unsure about the DHCP_VENDOR.
We are using the jump server as local DHCP server, everything is on
one segment, no need to go to a router. All I did was ran make_dhcp.
In Template, I have base_config_client_allocation="", I had "grub" in
there before but unsure because make_client would tell me to create a
grub floppy. No floppy. So now it defers to dhcp bootp. Would
appreciate some guidance on this.
Here's the fatal error on make_client:

Unsure of how to proceed next, and would like some help. Thanks!
