I'm trying to reset the BIOS from within the newly-jumped system, to boot from disk the next time. The alternative would be to watch the screen and F2 like mad when the thing reboots. I don't know if this has ever been possible, or is possible now. eeprom to modify bootenv.rc seems to do nothing. bootadm and the boot-archive seems to act on GRUB, and not before.
Can' t do that, unless you use IPMI.
However, you should really have the BIOS set to only PXE boot ONE time.In other words, by default have it boot from disk, but do the CTRL-N thing while booting to force a PXE boot.
I seem to recall reading something on how to do this somewhere. I'm sorry if it's an RTFM, I've looked at so many PXEBoot and automated install docs in the last weeks I can't keep them straight. CT
