Hi,
I'm running OpenSolaris 06.2009 on a Thinkpad T61p with Dual Core 64-Bit
CPU and 4 GB Memory. I've installed QEMU 0.10.2 and VirtualBox 2.2.2 and
both work without problems.
Now I'm searching for some information about getting the best
performance for Virtual Machines in QEMU and VirtualBox, e.g. should I
run Windows XP (32 Bit) in a Virtual machine in VirtualBox with a
virtual 32-Bit CPU or an 64-Bit CPU to get better performance? And the
same question for other Operating Systems (like Ubuntu 8.10 and
OpenSolaris / Solaris nevada /Solaris Update7).
Any pointers are welcome -- if no such info already exist I've to test
it myself
