Hi, can anyone please explain me the boot process in opensolaris? I would like somebody to explain the boot process at the process level like what forks and what execs and so on ( our textbooks say that init forks and execs getty, login blah blah... which is so outdated :) . ) I am actually doing a demo on dtrace and i want to show fork and exec by various processes on opensolaris startup. i have the dtrace script with me but i couldn't make much out of the output.
