I think I can also look at http://sunsolve.sun.com/pdownload.do?target=10_Recommended.README and find the biggest numbered Solaris 10 kernel patch so at least for kernel I will have the latest version. For patch and pkg command we have "Latest patch update" at http://sunsolve.sun.com/show.do?target=home .
By the way thanks for the presentation link I will inspect that.. I don't know for sure, but Gerry Haskins' blog is very useful: http://blogs.sun.com/patch/. if you look at this entry - http://blogs.sun.com/patch/date/20090326 - there is a useful presentation there which has a lot of detail on kernel patches, including a nearly-up-to-date list (I think it is pre-u7). It would be useful to have a completely up-to-date version of this on sunsolve actually. --tim
