Hi,

I really do have hard time on understanding kernel patches of Solaris 10,9,8
Operating systems. For example is there an answer for "How can I find the
latest kernel patch for a specific Solaris OS?"

For example generally what I do is to take the kernel patch number which is
installed on my system and log in to sunsolve.sun.com and search for that
patch-Id and try to follow "Obsoleted" section but this is very very hard to
follow.

And another question is that can I apply Solaris 10 Update 7 kernel patch to
Solaris 10 Update 2 so I can (at least in kernel ) have Solaris 10 Update 7
kernel? Does that create problem on functionallity ?

Regards.

PS: Is there a documentation or site to see the latest kernel patch for Solaris
?
