Is there another measure of connectivity on the interfaces in question? While I doubt that the error is being thrown by ESXi for no reason, is there a way to check if traffic is still flowing or the guests are still working?
Since the error suggests ESXi isn't aware of how a supposed connectivity error is impacting the system, is it impacting it at all? Perhaps it's an export configured but unused?
