I have not yet placed a guest on the lun, all that has been done is that it is connected to the lun and then I see the link go to dead in the gui. and it goes up and down every 40 seconds from the minute I connect to the lun. I then see error logs on both the ssh and the esxi console. during this time I send ping commands to test if there are dropped packets and there are none on this san network. What do you mean by your last question?
