Hi.That was my first proposal to the client but for some other reasons they
choose by DVD one....

Peter Tribble was right. If you don't have those files or they are not
available the upgrade process doesn't see if you have another Solaris
already installed.

But also you can use pfinstall (which is located under /usr/sbin/install.d
and see man pfinstall) to check if your Solaris is upgradable or not...
