Folks, I am trying to understand the steps for configuring FMA to send snmp traps.
Link http://blogs.sun.com/pmonday/entry/fun_with_the_fma_and suggests that we modify snmp.conf and snmpd.conf. Link http://blogs.sun.com/sdaven/entry/debug_with_fmstat suggests that snmp-trapgen.conf needs to be modified. I also see a file called fmd-trapgen.conf under /etc/sma/snmp. I am confused. All I am looking for are steps to enable my OpenSolaris box to send traps on faults that I should be able to receive with snmptrapd. I would appreciate it if someone can enlighten me on the steps.
