(Don't close the possibility to use syslog in measurements and data
aquisition. It may seems to be a wild idea, but a protocoll or tool
is adequate iff it works on circumstances which isn't even dreamed
by the designer. E.g.: IPv4 in today's global internet, unix pty as a
building block of a VPM dqata stream,...)
