Picky dude that I am:
1. The Table of Contents expires in July, all the rest in August.

2. Introduction. Change "fundamental tenants" to "fundamental tenets"

3. 5.4 Examples Change "TIMESTAME" to "TIMESTAMP"

4. 6. Here, species is singular. Change to "One species of moths uses "

5. 6.1 Packet Parameters Add a comma after 'some of'. "it may log all of,
or the source address and some of, the contents of the message, or it may
discard the message altogether."

6. 6.2 Change the words inside the parentheses to read: "(either from the
machine from which the messages are purportedly sent or from any other
machine)"

I enjoyed reading this document; it provides an explanation of previously
unspecified syslog behaviour, and prepares the way for the next generation
secure-syslog. I do hope that backwards compatibility will not be a
hindrance in its formation.

Thank you for your hard work on this document.

Subject: Last Day on syslog-syslog

Hi Everyone,

The latest draft for syslog-syslog was published this morning.
(I submitted it on Thursday but the Draft Editors were very
busy pushing out all of the ver-00 IDs before the cutoff on
Friday.) You can find it here:
  http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-syslog-syslog-06.txt

I've also updated our working group pages here:
  http://www.employees.org/~lonvick/index.shtml

If there's no active discussion on this, I'll submit it to the
IESG this afternoon (Austin time).

Thanks,
Chris
