I've updated our web page at:

We need some solid reviews of the syslog-sign ID. We
especially need to hear from people who plan to implement
this. If you read it and all appears good, please drop
a note to the list saying so. If we can get this reviewed
by some people at this time, then we can progress it on to
become an RFC. Also, if we can get consensus on the
mailing list, then we will not need to meet in Salt Lake
City, and we can spend our collective time there more
productively. ..or in the bar. :-)
