Hi Rainer, Great to hear that ASCII is present in all the character sets. I am happy to use a standard ASCII header followed by a payload descriptor and then the payload in the specified encoding as you suggest. We don't want to break any existing standards if we can avoid it. As long as ASCII is standard then we will have no problems.
Any one have any thoughts on the syntax to specify the encoding? Encoding=USASCII Encoding=Base64 Regards Andrew
