Hi, If the implementers are willing to file a report on their implementation, we can advance the documents to Draft Standard. The reports need to identify whether the implementations support each portion of the relevant specifications - the header format, the SDEs, the various security mechanisms, etc.
If you are an implemneter willing to file a report, let me know and I will help explain the process to be followed. If you are a deployer, and willing to file a report of your deployment experience for these standards, we may be able to advance the drafts to Full Standard. dbh > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rainer Gerhards > Sent: Wednesday, March 11, 2009 4:12 AM > To: Anton Okmyanskiy (aokmians) > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Syslog] syslog RFCs > > Thanks everyone, > > I am very happy that we finally could publish.
