Which is why the DMCA got passed. I can only hope such laws can be repealed (or at least "gutted") in the future. As a business owner myself, I know full well how important it is to protect what's yours. But as a consumer, I see my rights being legislated away. Seems like the only reasonable people on the planet are over there in Europe. They had enough sense to overrule "Software Patent" legislation. If only we could do the same here in the states.
