Well, it's not a "cache", it will not be re-created automatically like
a cache, and it will not work with the file missing, it will just fail
completely if the database is not there.

I don't think the name is convincing. The rootfs is not really a place
for "cache" files, it should be seen as read-only.

Maybe "etcetera" is a nice name. :)
