Mike,
This is the exact problem with our sport and the problem with the "track
net". Our supposed "die hard fans" are too busy talking about irrelevant
things like a Nike commercials rather than xc & track races. When I first
joined this list, I read 100% of the messages because the list was comprised
of competing athletes, active coaches and "intelligent fans". Now we have a
bunch of people who use the list as their "Jerry Springer", soapbox
entertainment. Sometimes, I wonder if most netters have a life outside of
running and the internet.
PLEASE stop talking about family values, TV commercials, and clothing. This
is a TRACK LIST, not Maxim magazine. I could care less about your
children's values (and yes I am a father), provocative uniforms and Nike
commercials with chainsaws.
STANFORD was 3rd this weekend! Lets talk track and XC.
