I think the list is a mixture of facts, facts presented misleadingly, and
outright falsehoods. The tone is somewhat sensational.

For instance "a mere 2% drop in body water" is 2-3 lb of water; that's a lot
of sweat.
"Chronic dehydration" is not defined.  Nor is "mild dehydration".
The connection between 5 glasses of water daily and drastically decreased
cancer risk is dubious.

Most of the properties of Coke mentioned also apply to alcohol-containing
drinks, like wine, whisky etc. I would rather eat meat baked in wine or
brandy than Coke. Spirits are good for removing greasy stains. (Coke isn't;
it stains clothes pretty badly).
There is citric acid in citrous fruits (lime, lemon, orange, grapefruit) as
well as in Coke.

Finally as a die-hard Coke drinker I must protest at the slanderous use of
Coca-Cola in the examples given. Pepsi would have been a better example.
