Andre Johnson of Miami Northwestern(year??) was the show. Won all three sprints with two meet records(200, and 400) with the 400 being the most notable, 47.11. His 10.97 was possibly run into a headwind(There's usually some sort of wind out there usually east to west). Just a few steps back in the 400 was Davon Johnson, SR, Homestead,(47.23 and 1:53.41 in the 800 during the summer) in 47.48.
Michael Reed had a notable performance. He throws in basketball shoes and was state 4A champ last year.
Paul Cross went out in 59, 2:12 and with winds gusting a reported 20-25 miles per hour, buckled to run 4:31.92. Cross also ran an unofficial 1:55 for his leg of the 4x8.
Kevin Hicks, after qualifying Friday night with a reported 1:56, came back and ran 25,54.7,then 58 to win in 1:53.48. All by himself. It broke Moses Washington's meet record, 1:58.83.

Lauren Austin,Jr, Oviedo, 53.52 last summer, opened the season with a 12.35, 25.30 and and a 38.88, 300 meter.
Lavera Morris( 2:13.05 and 5:01.69),Jr, Orlando Oak Ridge, ran 1 1:38.04 for 600m and a 3:55.28 1200m.
Jenny Barringer,So, Oviedo, ran a 5:14.02 in the 1600m. Her splits were 72,81,82, 79.
