You really should read and understand before you respond with such authority!

No one said ALL SMS messages are free to AOL-IM.  Just that SMS messages to 
4646 (AIM 
sign on) and 4647 (AIM Sign-off) are free.  On my bills THEY ARE.  Messages to 
these 
numbers are excluded from the bill.  The original question was if anyone knew 
of any 
other free SMS numbers! There ARE more numbers that ARE free.  Just because you 
don't 
know about them does not mean they do not exist...

The bucket of SMS was a totally different discussion and I agree, varies with 
each account.
