The original statement: I know some T-Mobile SMS text messages are free but I've never seen a published list. I will start with just the few I know of (mainly AOL-IM control).
4646 = AOL-IM Sign-On 4647 = AOL-IM Sign-Off 4650 = AOL-IM Buddies There is a whole family of 46XX codes for AOL-IM, and they are not free. If you have not been charged, then you are lucky and your bill is flawed. I checked with the friend at TMobile BEFORE I posted that to confirm it. They confirmed any 46XX is a chargeable SMS. They stated "with authority" as to how many calls they get with people getting 4690 AOL IM Status messages bille dover and over because they logged in but never logged out, then get charged for dozens if not hundreds of SMS... I DO know that there are various free SMS. I never stated that there werent... But, if you are using imbedded client (handset menu) or actual manual SMS to AOL IM, they are charegable... Period...
