Hmmm, it sounds to me like there's just poor reception in the area you're
talking about, or something screwed with the towers) that are giving reception
there. Or is it not just there but wherever you go?

Subject: RE: [T-Mobile-US] Turning GPRS Always on.

Wish I could say it was, but I have been having this
same single problem with my V300, A630, and now this
V600.

I recently read this blurb about having GPRS always
on, and it seems to increase the signal reception, I
am not saying whether this is true or false, but I am
willing to try anything. It is very hard to visit my
family, and not have cell service, and even the
T-mobile staff there have no clue why signal is so
terrible.

We (T-mobile and myself) have changed/upgraded SIMs, I
have gotten other phones and brands, nothing seems to
make a difference. I have inquired is it possible my
sim (issued in Palm Beach County) is not compatible
with the network in my families area (since it is only
a few years old (much newer than what is in WPB) and
they don't even know if that is possible. If it
getting to the point, where I am considering getting a
prepaid phone I will just forward my T-mobile to when
I am traveling...isn't there something wrong with this
picture.
