T-Mobile does not "offcially" support 850 roaming BUT it seems to have been working in some areas as what some were calling test markets.
It has been probably at least one year now that I have been able to successfully roam on DobsonUS (USA-560) in Western NY. I was en route to Buffalo last week from Rochester and no can longer roam on Dobson/Cellone anymore. It seems that some of these areas have now been turned off. This was an area that has full T-Mobile coverage, but nonetheless was still able to roam on it. In fact this stretch of Dobson coverage I believe is mainly for Cingular customer to roam on anyway. Of course many have speculated and I believe some releases from T-Mo indicate future roaming on 850.
