If you are using certain handsets, such as most Motorolas, you WILL
need a "foreign" (read Non-Tmobile) SIM to force handset into
requesting SIM unlock code...

Well, the C650 doesnt count, it is about as good as the C332/C350 after all...

Ha ha

But if it is a V300 based, or the V66/V60/V70/P280 series, the
manufacturers instructions (not T-Mobile's) require a non-home carrier
SIM...
