I previously posted a question about using the Merlin G100 - but now I am confused because I got this response from a guy selling them on eBay. So my question is don't you have to use your SIMS card from your phone to use the T-Zone VPN $19.99 data plan? Is this guy saying you don't use a SIMS card with the Merlin G100 - if so how the heck does it work with T-Mo as an add on to your phone service if there is no sims card? "I'm confused as to if I need the Sierra 750 or if this card will work ok - does it use the Sims card - I know you can't use it for voice but I don't need that - only to switch out sims card when I want to get online when traveling. I'm confused by the question. This card uses the PCMIA type II slot on your laptop (All laptops generally have this slot. ) and acts as a wireless modem. By plugging this card into your laptop and by subscribing to the T-mobile service, you will be able to access the internet and e-mail.
