Anyone live in Alaska who can tell me about service in the Anchorage area with T-Mobile? Looked on a map and it appears that there is a roaming agreement with someone. How is GSM service there? My friend will be living in Alaska for about 4 months, has never had a cell phone and wants to learn more. She is a low minutes user. She mostly wants a phone for emergencies and for her kids to be able to call her from San Diego & St. Louis. I posted at Howard's Forum and received some info but would like to hear from this group.
