I believe your thinking is correct, although I am not sure that TM CS
can help you since we are discussing the Amazon rebate.  I guess
Amazon is looking for some sort of proof you are using the phone.  I
noticed the TM rebate now requires you to use the phone at least once
on their network.

It is still probably one of the best deals around.
