Hi, Thanks for replying my email. When I first connected the USB cable
(not the phone)to the PC, Windows detected new H/W and launched the
H/W installation Wizard and loaded the driver from the CD-ROM came
with data cable. This is a special cable (active), soon as plugged in,
Windows sees it as H/W device w/o connecting the phone. Device manager
listed it in the Ports (COM & LPT) under COM4. I believed this is a
USB-to-RS-232 cable. I could be wrong. When connecting the phone, I
clicked the "my computer" icon and Windows show all the hardware
devices execept the folder for the phone. When I browsed the CDROM, it
does not have anything else except the prolific driver. Any ideas? Thanks
