I wonder if anyone can clarify if Sidekick GPRS service is tied to a
specific handset IMEI?

Sidekicks use hiptop.t-mobile.com as their APN.  If I pop my Sidekick's
SIM into my (unlocked) SE P800 and use this APN, the handset appears
not to be able to logon to GPRS service.

I've previously used TM's GPRS service (via the internet1 and internet2
APNs) with no problem.
