This is easy enough to work around, as T-Mobile now roams on both Cingular and SunCom in the Carolinas and the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee. :) The only disadvantage of roaming on SunCom is that they don't support EDGE data, just GPRS. There was a SIM update sent out that was supposed to prefer SunCom above Cingular; I've heard that that update was backed out by a later update, but it wasn't for me. In any event, some phones will let you edit the carrier preference list to prefer SunCom above Cingular. -SC -- Stanley Cline // Telco Boi // sc1 at roamer1 dot org // www.roamer1.org "it seems like all you ever buy is Abercrombie and cell phones" --a friend - - T-Mobile-US on Google Groups: http://groups-beta.google.com/group/T-Mobile-US _ _ Yahoo!
