This is easy enough to work around, as T-Mobile now roams on both Cingular
and SunCom in the Carolinas and the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee.  :)  The
only disadvantage of roaming on SunCom is that they don't support EDGE
data, just GPRS.

There was a SIM update sent out that was supposed to prefer SunCom above
Cingular; I've heard that that update was backed out by a later update,
but it wasn't for me.  In any event, some phones will let you edit the
carrier preference list to prefer SunCom above Cingular.
