Apparently there's still no EDGE service here in Hawaii ... somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
Been using a Motorola v330 and the $19.95 unlimited Internet option. Recently lost the settings for it in my laptop. Set up the laptop again, using what was a different GPRS modem string. Before, speed was only up to around 20 kbps. Now it goes up to the low 40s, like my dialup Earthlink connection. Still no high-speed, though. Either T-Mobile has boosted its speed here, if only slightly, or the fact that I'm using a different GPRS modem string is responsible for the slight speed increase. Anybody here know anything about this? Getting any information from T-mobile is difficult, whether via web or by phone call. Nobody there seems to know anything.
