I thought I would start a new thread to answer this question that appeared on this site.
A year ago I looked at sk3 and mda. I had been a att ogo user. A device that was great...but the merge with [then] cingular disco'd the product line. Anyway..I went with sk3. I liked mda...but the sk3 was like the 'all u can eat salad bar 4 1 price' 29.99 a month gets me unimited web, text, 3 instant messenger isp's, email on tmail & 3 pop 3's. No wi fi. At the time the mda was a higher monthly fee...and I think limited sms..and as an instrument more expensive. The camera, mp3, calendar and stuff don't float my boat on any device. I have another year 2 go on contract and have not really looked at other options, but I think the mda has been redesigned and is now a slide instrument. Sliders have not met with a lot of satisfaction. The flip on the sk3 makes me nervous...but I have flipped a LOT in a years time and so far...no issues. I DID look at the dash...but buttons 2 small. Are there better types out there? Absolutely! But I think the sk3 is the best bang 4 the buck. The iphone has gotten my attention...[I like faster web speeds]...and the price has dropped....but I am not ready to jump ship, battle over contract issues with t mo etc. Btw...ALL this is just my opinion. There is a sidekick danger yahoo group..not well moderated, but info does flow. Hiptop also came out with a new website..powerby danger.com or something..I will look when I get back 2 laptop. Right now I am at soccer game...& did all this on sk3 [Also..sk3 vast improvement over sk2] If others have an opinion of sumthing I am missing I wood like 2 know... Also looking 2 expand my horizons.
