Hi, I had a TMobile post pay plan since 2004. I was diagnosed with some serious medical issues and have been out of work for almost 3 years. I have had to cut expenses so I switched to pre paid $50/month unlimited to use with a MyTouch 4G. I had previously had a BlackBerry that I sold.
I am not understanding exactly what is going on now. I cannot seem to connect to the internet (FB, browsing, mapquest, etc) unless I'm home or somewhere I am logging into a WiFi connection. When I had the BlackBerry, it would only connect if it was on UMA. 3G wouldn't connect for data. This makes little sense since if I'm at those places, I can just use a computer. The purpose of having unlimited data/internet is so I can have it when I need it. I just carried my SIM card over that I have had for years, but I am reading that pre and post paid SIMs are different. Can someone please tell me what is going on? I am deaf now and navigating the customer service for pre paid is a royal pain. I have tried googling and asking this question on the TMobile forum, but no one answers.
